The first Sterex Academy was born in the late 1980’s as a result of a need for electrologists and lecturers to learn about the then new and exciting technique of Sterex Blend electrolysis and to meet the growing demand in advanced techniques such as the removal of red veins, milia, skin tags and other fibrous blemishes.
The Sterex Academy moved from Coventry to Sterex Electrolysis International’s Head Quarters in the heart of manufacturing Birmingham in the late 1990’s and continued to build upon its enviable reputation for training quality and innovation both nationally and internationally.
Today the demand for training at the Sterex Academy Head Office has exceeded its ability to supply so Sterex Electrolysis International Ltd have taken the decision to license the Sterex Academy portfolio of courses and standards to other exceptional training organisations. This means electrologists up and down the UK will have access to a more local Sterex Academy so can more easily attend training and progress their career. Non electrologists wanting to do the fast track Level 3 electrolysis training can also now more easily attend and therefore quickly start their electrolysis career.
Sterex Electrolysis International M.D. Laurie Cartmell says “I’m delighted with the Licensing of the Sterex Academy because for too long we have been unable to meet the demand we have been responsible for creating and myself and fellow board members are delighted that more training will be available to more people from now on”.
